 Are you a parent?
Do you know a child who you love to talk to?

Who is emotional engaged with the conversation…
Totally confidence and inspiring…
Has impeccable manners and is well behaved….
Knows how to treat other children…
Who do what they are told, when they are told, by the people who love and care for them
…

Have you ever met a child like this?

 This is what we do.

We teach families the secrets on how to raise better behaved kids, who get great grades, are  physically fit, have super confidence and become the most popular in their class.  We teach children how to make better choices about who to become friends with, and to always do their best. We teach these valuable lessons in a safe, clean and professionally operated leadership academy.

Parents today recognize that the public school systems alone are just not enough. Millions of parents are bringing martial arts, like taught here, into their children’s lives to supplement their education.

May I help you find out how this type of academy can improve the life of your family by offering you a free, no risk, no obligation VIP Offer?

If you believe- as hundreds of others in the Poughkeepsie, NY believe- that you want your child to possess the willingness to begin their quest to be the best, then take advantage of our FREE VIP offer as soon as possible by calling (845) 240-1217 or fill out the form on this page.

Kicks for St. Judes
NYKA Karate has always been dedicated to helping our community. Since 2007, NYKA Karate has raised close to $10,000 for local and national charities such as: The American Cancer Society, Livestrong, Relay for Life, Our Lady of Lourdes, and many of the local food pantries.

Beginning in September 2011, we have decided to up the ante. Our introductory program will be offered to help raise money for St. Judes Children's Cancer Hospital.

Our Introductory Program consists of 2 weeks of classes for ONLY $79. 100% of this will be donated directly to St. Judes. You can also donate without taking advantage of our Introductory offer. Click the PayPal button below to get started.

Parents report these 5 important benefits their children in our school experience:

  • Our Reward System
Martial arts are not like team sports because the emphasis is on developing the individual’s self- esteem not the team’s winning record. The belt system is key. When children earn their belts, it gives them a sense of accomplishment that really improves the way they feel about themselves.

  • Our Program Teaches Children Discipline
On of the things parents appreciate most about classes is the improvement in their child’s self-discipline. We have a wonderful staff of patient instructors who love to work with children, but are also very clear about limits. We enforce good rules of behavior in class, and we expect the same good behavior at home and in school.

  • Our Activities Channel Children’s Aggression
Many doctors actually prescribes our school for treatment because of the positive outlet it gives kids for all their energy.

  • Our Confidence and Success Enhances Children’s Self-Esteem
We believe confidence is one of the most important things we can give kids. That is why every class we teach has confidence-building drills included within.

  • Our Program Teaches Children Essential
    Self-Defense Skills

Our program teaches practical, proven self-defense methods. We also teach kids that the moves they learn in class will work, so they don’t go home and try them on their sister, or neighbor.
